Quad Core Board with VGA plug ??
Is it possible to build a board like the orangepi plus with a VGA plug?Orcan several of the pins so be programmed that a VGA plug can be connected
Sorry for my bad english.
I believe there are HDMI to VGA adapters I know that adapters are available.
I want to build DualMonitor System (Expanded desktop).
Standard Orangipi with dualcore support this
Hi there, I am a little mixed up with what you want, the Oramge Pi already has a vga output if you want to use it but I believe that you can only output video to one type at a time either hdmi, vga or composite video.
(but i may be wrong)
Regards Poppy Ann. Poppy, He's talking about OP + Orange pi plus has no VGA interface. If you wanted an extended desktop, you'd literally have to make a LCD driver card. That split the image across both screens as if they were two panels in the same screen (like those 4k monitors that are actually two separate panels inside) Thats the only current way to do it since the GPU doesnt support dual screens. hi,KingNyx. HDMI to VGA adapters exist,it is true i got one,but using it i faced with problem. All distro that i try does not support native resolution of my monitor 1280x1024-60.This is looks like conspiracy akt of all developers, only wide screen 1080p 720p resolutions supported well.
With a HDMI to CGA adapter you can connect normal PC monitor. But please be aware that not all Linux variants work with the adapter. In my experiance all Debian based versions (incl. Ubuntu) do not work with it. And all Redhat based versions the old 4:3 format displays are hard to be configured, as the there are many yast modules removed from the image.
