I tried your latest build and:

You do know that "official" repository works now and you can get all pvr plugins there? Secondly, currently only useable kernel for this is 3.4. That means there is no way you can compare this OpenELEC with for example 4.5, which is the one RPi uses. Backported drivers are just means to get as much drivers supported as possible.

BTW, next build will have interactive governor, so it will be a little cooler.

I know all of that. I meant general support for Geniatech tuner on Linux is broken, so I don't expect it to be working on Openelec.

However, how about ite9135? Is there any chance to get it working. They say it has no problems on armbian (but I have not checked it yet), so the same should be possible on Openelec.

This the reason why I'm considering dropping backported DVB drivers. While it enable to uses newer drivers, it also disables some drivers which were supported, but due to some update, which uses non supported function on old kernel. There is no way mixing old and backported drivers (at least not such way that I'm willing to support)

There is only one possibility - all that are present. Missing ones are not present due to not compatible kernel.

Most hardware I tested is working. I see no reason to remove drivers... the only not working I found is ite9135. Any chance you look at it?

Sorry, I don't own the HW and my focus is completely elsewhere. A top of that, backported drivers are not officially supported by their maintainers. Here you can check minimum kernel version for specific driver: https://git.linuxtv.org/media_build.git/tree/v4l/versions.txt If it's not on the list, it should probably work, but there is no guarantee.

Minimum kernel version for ite913X is 3.4.0 so should work... it does not.

P.S. if I can suggest something useful:
- openvpn
- alsaequal: http://www.thedigitalmachine.net/alsaequal.html

actually, just edit appropriate fex file. If you have OPiPC, then edit opipc.fex. It has the same format as script.bin.
