Did you test non-passthrough sound first? Maybe the sound volume is set very low...

If you don't manage to get it working, maybe I can prepare image which works for me. Well, where at least non-passthrough option works, so we can test passtrough.

Hi, I would like to help you with the tests. I have Orange Pi Mini 2 and Orange Pi Plus. My AVR supports Dolby Digital / DTS / Dolby TrueHD / Dolby Digital Plus / DTS-HD Master Audio / DTS-HD High Resolution Audio / DTS Express. I tried to clone the branch using
  1. git clone -b openelec-7.0 --branch passthrough --depth 1 https://github.com/jernejsk/OpenELEC-OPi2
Copy code

and build with
  1. sudo PROJECT=H3 SYSTEM=opi2 ARCH=arm make image
Copy code

but it is asking me for credentials:
  1. Cloning into bare repository 'sources/mt7601u/mt7601u-master.git'...
  2. Username for 'https://github.com':

...which I do not have. Could you help me, please? I have already built some openelec images before (successfully, without facing this problem). Maybe it could be solved using SSH?

EDIT: Please drop "-b openelec-7.0" and "--depth 1" from git command.

I only fixed source URL to a few packages so a clean build is possible, without any pre-downloaded sources. I plan to check images today.
