Hi goondu , what type of video were you playing ( size / video AND audio codec ) and with what software ( spmc, tvdplayer, ... ? ) . If your board is in a case : has it a heatsink and/or a fan , and would you mind to try outside of case then ?
As a general rules software crashes  happen in less than a minute.  memory leaks or hardware crashes on the long run.

Thanks for your response. My OrangePi PC was housed and tested in a casing.
I am now stress testing the video streaming with another OrangePi PC board [without a casing] with another sdcard. I will update my observation.

My first OrangePi PC board [with a casing] was now not with me, so I can't do further test. However the following were observed:
a. that the red on board led light will flicker every few seconds. [Unlike my second board, whereby I always have a solid green on board led light]
b. the video stop after continuously play for approximately 20 minutes [can only make further test, once I have the first board back]

I had streamed both live TV [via an Android app] and movies [via UC browser], and in both instances, the streaming will stop after having continuously played for a while. The casing is noticably warm.

Thanks

Hi, @flyingbaloon for such tech advice you may want to come on webchat (or freenode irc #H3Droid )  we are reluctant to post links here about hardware since some screens accessories vendors are scammers.
Please specify the number of simultaneous fingers for touchscreen 1 ( resistive ) 5/10(capacitive) these are (very) different technologies and prices ...

Hi, Could you describe the screen and possibly a give pointing where you bought it ?
Decent HDMI display have scalers units and they always manage full screen.

As a general rule : AVOID 7" 800x480 SCREENS that have no scaler and make black borders.  H3Droid is 16/9 16/10 only and we don't have funding to buy some and try to support them.

PS: i know it is a warm nice place here and all but maybe http://www.friendlyarm.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=655 is more suited for nanopi :p, btw funding remark apply to nanopi boards too.

Hi. Great project. Thank you!

I have a problem with orange pi+2e. Android does not boot when the power fails or when I turn off the power. An empty pink screen is displayed. Reboot is normal (Only until the problem occurs).
I use an HDMI to VGA adapter.

The latest version of the h3droid script and all the previous ones.

I would really appreciate your help.
