Guys, please realize that:
- HW decoding will never work
- anything not working now will never work

This is because Jernej has decided to stop all OPI development and there is no any other person able to continue his work. Nobody has enough konwledge, sadly.

P.S. please stop posting useless builds without hw decoding. Really.

I wonder if there is still any live person here who can help with the 7 version's build??? I have asked so many questions concerning remote wakeup and nobody answered at all!

Nope. OPI has no support. Nobody working on it. Jernej's build is latest usable and ut will be never updated. Big shame he has decided to join open source development, it means nothing usable in next 10 years

Thanks for your reply! I'm not asking for harware support, I'm just tying to get help from any user of Orange Pies on this forum. Perhaps, someone knows what is the problem, or may tell me if his board behaves itself the same, or not? Because, as I understand when JerneJ did his builds those functions worked fine. I suppose the problem is difintaely with my board, or Kodi.
I would appreciate any help!

As I see, without Jernej (and his Librelec v7 - still working good, fortunately) is Orange Pi only another half-useless shit.
No support, no goods.

It's true. Shame he has decided to stop development. No hope now. Fortunately, his Openekec build works fine. However, Kodi is outdated there and many addons are not compatible.

There may be a chance for newer mainline drivers. There is a kick starter for Allwinner VPU support http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... thread&tid=3400
