Ok i make this working

First i downloaded latest armbian 5.20 and installed image to sdcard and connected LAN cable(do not plug wifi adpater).
Then after login i made commands below:
  1. sudo apt-get update

  2. sudo apt-get upgrade

  3. sudo apt-get install git build-essential dkms network-manager

  4. git clone https://github.com/pvaret/rtl8192cu-fixes.git

  5. sudo dkms add ./rtl8192cu-fixes

  6. sudo dkms install 8192cu/1.10

  7. sudo depmod -a

  8. sudo cp ./rtl8192cu-fixes/blacklist-native-rtl8192.conf /etc/modprobe.d/

  9. sudo reboot
Copy code

Then i plug in my NETIS adapter (RTL8188CUS) and typed:
  1. nmcli -a d wifi connect
Copy code

Connected to my WIFI, unplugged LAN, and hardreset device.

Thats it

When support hits mainline. Even H3 or H5 boards, which came out two years ago, are not there yet:
https://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Allwinner
Definitely not in 2018.

Armbian provides decent H3/H5 support while H6 is not yet ready. Possible in few weeks/months.

Nope, it is not developed.
When/if those guys collect enough money for low-level development and when this is delivered:
https://www.kickstarter.com/proj ... ficial-linux-kernel

Then we need to raise money for implementation or do it for free.

I tried to run the Ubuntu Software Center on a OPI+2E but it's not loading the available app list and the Gnome Software Center shows only a few apps... is it normal?

Also I'm trying to install the Spotify, anyone knows how to install that? I tried apt-get install spotify-client but I got a "package not found" message... I also installed the Snap, and even in snap I can't find the Spotify app... Is the Spotify app available for Linux?

And how about the VPU support, any news from the driver development?

Thank you guys!

Yes. You need to ask the creator of this software (Canonical), why its not working.

Is the Spotify app available for Linux?

No idea. https://www.spotify.com/int/download/linux/ Check under Debian package ... if there is a version for arm architecture, it might work.

IMO a few months from now. For an update on the driver development check here: https://bootlin.com/ ... when this is done it needs to be implemented which will require some additional work.
