You can borrow kernel driver from Android.

But. Where to find userspace  Mali t720 driver (blob) with OpenCL support? I found only https://github.com/jernejsk/H6-mali-userspace without OpenCL symbols.

To make it clear there isn't any working mali t720 driver under linux , none zero nada ;) shame on allwinner and shame on xululong for using a chipset without drivers and shame on us for buying it

Shame but I tested android, it played 4k video, then I got android sources (a lot of gigs), there was the driver source and then I compiled the driver after some corrections the code to my current kernel 4.9...After insmod I got something like /dev/mali, not tested it (the screen is far away now), what I need for now is OpenCL and compute SDK.  I bought the board just for OpenCL support and PCIex, the two features are mis workable , haha, made in China.

i havent seen working gpu aceleration in linux(could be that i wasnt searching to much), only android have good drivers. even with old kernel (BSP) is kind a pain to make everything working on linux.

so for now opi 3 works as media player in android, and some times linux boots up for some testing or as wifi extender (ethernet -> hostapd-> wifi)

same here, the opi3 is a very good android mediaplayer you are getting the same specs of a ziddo h6 pro , i even stole their firmware to fix google play , but under linux is only good if you plan to make it a server unless the Panfrost effort makes a working driver , i doubt it but who knows i would be very happy to be wrong

Hi, I have the same trouble... OPi 3 is good HW, but how is it possible that there is no GPU driver (T720) for Linux (Debian, Ubuntu)? The whole HW then degrades it only into the server role or unusable HW. OPi is a good HW but without SW support it's HW for nothing. Then I don't understand why this HW exists when it is not possible to use all of his features (desktop Linux without GPU acceleration it is not useable). RPi has a big lead in this...
