First, according to this you have to connect the dongle before the PC is turned on.
Second, according to the FAQ Android is only compatible with 8188eu-based dongles.
Now, for some reason the dongle is recognized only if connected on the lower left side usb port, as suggested by melanrz (tested on the default Android image, no need to burn another one).

Rtl8188EUS or Rtl8188etv will work. Just buy one and plugin. Voila.

How? Show us.

If you want, I can ship from China. Working perfectly.

I'm using this cheap one and it works well.
The only problem is that it covers the upper port partially, so you may want to use with an USB extension cable.

Yeah my mini-wifi usb adapter with RTL8188eu chip it's working on Android in OPI PC connecting it to the lower left side usb port. It's like this: http://tinyurl.com/opi-miniwifi
Also works a bluetooth adapter in any usb port. I'll try to use a Wiimote controller.
