Are you both speaking about this item? http://aliexpress.com/store/prod ... 71_32248776760.html

If so, it would be interesting whether OPi plus users can also comment on that. It might be possible that Xunlong switched the TRRS routing between Plus and 2/PC? Compare with  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phone_connector_(audio)#TRRS_standards

you can pretty much use a multymeter to check it out
or you can just try each for the video

Sorry, but I do not intend to buy this cable (can you please answer if you bought the one from the link?).
I want to document the TRRS jack behaviour on http://linux-sunxi.org so that others can save time and troubles. Therefore information from OPi plus users are interesting too.

Do the white and the yellow then be the audio output?

Anyone had any success to connect Opi running Linux to a car TV?
because I want a very cheap display, altenative to HDMI monitor.
(cheap car tv doesn't have audio, I know)

Yes, TV like that.
It has three ports: red, yellow, and white.
- red for power (12V)
- yellow for multimedia video input
- white for the reverse camera
So it has no audio.

The TV resolution is 320x240 to 800x480. Will it give me problem?
Even ending up with terminal and no X is fine.
