I fixed VC1 playback. However it seems that this file is still too heavy for the system so frame r ...

For sure Don't bother to build and upload a new image every commit you do.

By the way:
Tested latest version and yes: artifacts from that VC1 video are gone. Good work as usual!
I will test more VC1 videos because that one has a bit particular refresh rate and a lot of players fail in playing it perfectly.
We will test this video again after direct rendering will be implemented to see if that was the problem causing micro stutters.

I've uploaded the update .tar of the latest version:
OpenELEC-OPi2.arm-7.0-devel-20151215113311-r21675-gd7ab30a.tar

(Will test more video codecs and report back)

I tried to merged upstream changes, but there was a lot of problems. First off, systemd 228 doesn't compile because there is no <linux/btrfs.h> and no quota support, which means we have too old kernel. Also Kodi 16 beta 5 behaved very strangely. Also u-boot is very old, so some new patches must be removed... Maybe it would be good if we first merge upstream u-boot with H3 patches.

I think I will wait some time before I will try this again. However, it would be good to follow upstream with minimal changes as close as possible. This won't be achieved until we get linux 4.X, unfortunately.

BTW, can someone give the link to broken mpeg2 video? I tried two but both works.

Now I get it. You are using USB wifi dongle. I was reffering to build-in wifi on orange pi 2 board.

In this case fex file won't help you.

Do you have wifi dongle inserted during boot? Try also execute "ifconfig wlan0 up" and then check if you can manipulate with wifi connections.

Maybe in the future we can add a workaround to the kernel so we can still use latest version of systemd.
Maybe adding an unused btrfs.h to the kernel can solve the problem..or something like that. (A bit dirty i know..)

fritz posted his changes for mailine uboot and other little things.

I tried all of my MPEG2 videos and couldn't find a broken video (but i have not a lot of them).
Probably lymon can post a sample of his problem.

Today i watched some videos MPEG4, H264 and H265 all without problems
Will try other codecs soon.

To me OpenELEC seems very smooth on this device.
It's a pleasure using it.

could be that the problem is caused by the video is in MPEG2 and be interlaced?

Just FYI:

https://github.com/ssvb/lima-memtester/releases/latest
https://github.com/ssvb/linux-su ... d-lima-memtester-h3

Siarhei boots a different 3.4.39 kernel than the one loboris uses with u-boot v2016.01-rc2 + bugfix patch for reliable DRAM adressing (currently 624 MHz are considered a sane default DRAM clock unless a few more testers are willing to contribute). I would suspect loboris has already fixed a few more bugs now but at least you should be able to upgrade u-boot?

And btrfs can be activated with 3.4.39 but I would refrain from using it.

Which build do you use? I have Orange Pi 2 which has wifi and it works. I'm not familiar with OPiP ...

The kernel and the boot loader not is a problem, I have ported other images to my board (but allways Debian images), but the diferent version of vpdpau implementation will we a problem for me, think that I can't do that.
