Hi all,

I read this post in this forum and i see that the user loboris post this output of his Orange Pi with the command "iw list"

iw list reports:

Supported interface modes:
                 * IBSS
                 * managed
                 * AP
                 * monitor
                 * P2P-client
                 * P2P-GO

The problem is that i didn´t see the iw list output of Orange Pi Plus in the forum...
In the web i can see in the specifications the wireless chipset: http://www.orangepi.org/

But in the specifications of Orange Pi, i can´t see the chipset (only i know that is a realtek and mimo, and i remember that maybe was a diferent chipset), so i am not sure if is the same or not: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi/

So i will be very glad if somebody can post me the output code of the iw list in the Orange Pi Plus (if is on Debian or Ubuntu perfect...)

Best regards

Why do you need specifically the output of iw? If you just want to know whether it can function as an AP or something you could just ask that instead, there are plenty of ways of finding such details out even without the use of iw, like e.g. http://fn-link.en.made-in-china. ... -F89ETSM13-W2-.html lists most of the chip's specs.

In the specifications i see:WiFi: Ad-hoc mode (Peer-to-Peer )
Infrastructure mode
Software AP
WiFi Direct

I need to know that output too see if support monitoring... AP i know that support, but not sure how will work with hostapd to to karma, dogma and mana

Ah, okay then. I don't know if it supports monitor-mode, but at least your question is now clear; maybe someone else will chime in!
