First of all, thank you so much for your work on this build for Kodi/OpenELEC/Orange Pi.  I have fou ...

If you have a keyboard attached to the OPI, press the letter 'O' during playback and see what it tells.
It will bring up the onscreen codecinfo as described in the below link:

Anyone tried USB 5.1 sound card with this? I am a fan of 5.0/7.0 setup rather than the usual subwoofer setups. Would like to know if the downmixing works correctly if the 5.0 setting is selected.

Otherwise need to build a Hardware LFE downmix circuit using ne5532 or some  other good opamp and use a spdif dts decoder.

Wishful thinking: If some one can design and produce a ARM board with 6 channel/8 channel AC97 or I2S decoder and some good filter caps

That was too fast

I was looking at the official driver from the  below link as I was not sure  ...

I suppose that you get this driver from older OpenELEC source? Few things to note:
- patches for kernel 4.0 and up are not needed, because mainline kernel already has support for that chip
- file names of the patches are a bit weird
- some patches seem not to be needed

But anyway, thanks

Once someone confirms functionality, I will add you images to sticky thread

4k video is played normaly, but it gets downscaled to whatever resolution you have. Latest images should have 1080p resolution. You can check  that in Kodi's settings. You can try to change script.bin to 4k but I'm not sure what will you get. I somehow forget to that resolution when I was programming resolution support, probably because I don't have such display.

You have to install addon - Transmission

1.  First of all install this (repository addon - "opi unofficial repository")

2. Then install Transmission addon (from "opi unofficial repository")

Jernej,

Can you try changing the system locale to some place which uses metric based units and see if the temperature works in C. I can see that it works fine in my setup. Probably something is screwing up during the C to F conversion.

Someone else reported to me that OPi2 image also didn't work. I think you missed the step in which you must first clean u-boot before you build image for another board or otherwise script.bin might not be updated.
