Hey,

by researching through the script.fex file I found out that the OPi is able to output to two displays at once (not only mirror but two decent alone displays with it's own framebuffer for each).
Since the OPiPC only has one HDMI but also OTG I want to try to enable USB OTG to work with a cheap USB HDMI adapter I got.

So question #1: is the otg port mhl compatible?
and question #2: how can I make it work?

(I just need ideas where to look for.)
The X-Server config is already present in this thread:

Those settings are for inbuilt Display hardware:

1. HDMI port
2. CVBS analog signal available at 3.5mm connector
3. LCD interface - Not connected in OPIPC

I don't think micro usb port is MHL compatible - Refer H3 datasheet https://www.dropbox.com/s/nkr9sl ... sheet_V1.1.pdf?dl=0

Also a regular USB->HDMI interface do not depend on these settings. A USB->HDMI is a very complex device in itself comparable to an OLD graphics card without any modern accelaration features.

yep, you are right; MHL is not supported. (see Manual Page 488).
Whata pity

Thanks for the headsup!

Oh..It's not at all a pity. It is not designed for it. H3 is not designed for applications which demands MHL and MHL is not designed for applications similar to OPi-PC.

And USB-HDMI adapter has nothing to do with MHL adapter. They both are nowhere related.

Also MHL has nothing to do with USB as such except for sharing a same sized port.
Just a slight case of not brushing up the basics before getting excited...
