Hello,
I have some problems with OS for Orange Pi One from http://www.orangepi.org/
I try several OS images, but every time with some problems.
One problem is same for all, OS cant allocate all memory on my micro SD card. Card has 32GB, but every time when I burn image on card and run it in orange pi, I see that I have only about 70 MB free space.
I try:
- Kali_2.0-Xfce.img (doesnt work internet connection)
- openSUSE_Tumbleweed_XFCE.img (doesnt work internet connection)
- Fedora22_Mate.img (doesnt work internet connection)
- Fedora22_LXDE.img (doesnt work internet connection)
- Raspbian_For_OrangePi_PC_v0_8_0.img (I cant run it)
- Lubuntu_1404_For_OrangePiPC_v0_8_0.img
- OrangePI-PC_Ubuntu_Vivid_Mate.img

Can someone help me with this problems??

You'll find support for OPI ONE on armbian.com. Follow their instructions to check your ( probably faulty ) SDcard and install a working system. Good luck.

@leader1188

Orangepi.org forum is mainly useless marketing hype and false information with the notable exception of the excellent OPENELEC by jernej and the link to Armbian.com. Good luck.

(to future visitors)
The reduced FS size is common on official images:
when you start the OP the first time you should see a message:
run sudo fs_resize
that will fix that issue, after a reboot.
(at least THAT issue........ others may arise, like the high temperature, and the failure to set a given frequency).

br,

I understand the disappointment of the user theguyuk.
Support for these devices is obsolete, except Armbian and OpenELEC, but we are talking about a very old kernel, and it seems that managers are conspicuous by their absence. This place is a desert where few users lend to answer. It's a shame.
Yes, the Orange Pi is great to try to do many experiments and squeeze your brains trying to make it work, but it misses more help from their creators.
