Hi all

I bought the orange pi pc more than six months ago. I ran it (using archlinux), not without problems, but managed to get everything working.
It worked for a long time without problems, but one day it just stopped working. Red LED no longer light up when switched on. I re-recorded the operating system backup on the memory card, but nothing has changed. I recorded a net archlinux, then I tried other operating systems and cards, but nothing did not make the LED light up.

I found a thread on this forum (I can not find it now) where people shared their similar problems. I tried these images ( http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... =342&extra=page%3D1 ), but nothing helped. I read in this thread that the red LED lights up programmatically, it is the proof that processor is working. If it lights up, it means your computer is OK, and if the operating system fails to boot further - a problem in it.

I tried to install armbian. It did not help, but after turning on the board I saw that green LED lights up. It didn't lights before. But the OS wasn't boot anyway.

Tell me, what do I do? Is it possible to revive my computer? If not, can I count on a refund or exchange for a new computer?

Thanks, Alik

Is there any communication over UART console? (You need a USB-TTL converter and a PC with terminal software to see it)

Sorry for long delay
I gave my computer to my friend, but he could not help. So now it is my problem. Again.

Now I downloaded a new Ubuntu desktop image, wrote it on a card, but after turning on, the green Orange PI LED does not glow. But I feel high CPU temperature.
About UART console – I have no USB-TTL converter, but I can borrow it for some days. I have Mac and Linux PC's. What I should do to test my Orange PI?

Hope for help,
Alik
