Transport endpoint is not connected

Hi Guys,It's my first post in the forum and hope you can help me with this annoyng issue.
I've buyed the orange pi pc 2 and I'm using  "Ubuntu_Desktop_Xenial_xfce4_PC2_V1_0_0" image (take from this forum).
It's not my fist board (I've an orange pi one that working very well ... transmission, samba, etc) but there's some problems with auto mount of my usb hdd.
As always I modified /etc/fstab with the string       "/dev/sda1               /media/NAS      auto    gid=1001,uid=1001,noatime       0               0"   , made the directory /media/NAS, and change permissions with chmod.....
but the hdd  doesen't mount properly at the start up.....
if I launch the command "df -h" the device /dev/sda1 doesn't appear and the first line is:  "df: /media/NAS: Transport endpoint is not connected".
To mount the hard drive I'have to unmount sda1 and remount to /media/NAS. (If I try to mount the device at the start-up the system notify that it's already mounted....)
