Does not work Wifi in Ubuntu Server. After entering the login and password for the connection, asks to restart the computer and hangs during the launch of the NTP-daemon. The processor is very hot.

Mine fails at a similar point.  It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the config.  I create the SD, boot once, and it happens on second boot without doing anything upon the first boot except a proper shutdown.  Recreate the card, same thing happens.

There is a problem with the audio driver currently, someone mentioned a fix in another thread. You have to redo your image process and on first boot after you login you remove the audio driver to fix it. Not sure if development is being made to the audio driver. But i will link to thread for fix, as soon as i find it.

Hi all,

OrangePi 2G manual recommends using an 8Gb class10 microsdcard, I use too 4Gb class4, and it take more time to boot. Boot process repeats 2 or 3 times some fhase, this is normal.

To burn SD card, ensure:
- before burn it, umount the drive.
- burn it using dd in linux and wait.
- then it finished force write all changes on disk: sync in linux, and extract safety microsdcard
- if same card fails, may be it has emmc errors, dont use it!

To connect via seial port, user kermit like orange manual, dont use cutecom or other serial program, kermit permits run any command with interactive modes through serial port.

good luck!!
