I do not see that it contributes much, many pages in that url do not work and the kernel of this board still without support

Okay well my I96 arrvied, looks like an amazing board, well done orange pi.
I installed Rasbian as per the instructions, hooked up the debug TTL Serial, and watched rasbian boot flawlessly.
I can see wlan0 in /etc/network/interfaces, configured it to my local wifi, I can bring 'ifup' and 'ifdown', but it will not connect to my local network.
Neither will it scan and find closer networks like my cellphone hotspot via the configuration util supplied (i forget the name)
Antenna seems to be attached, I can see the kernel driver for the wifi, I can probe the wifi module, all seems to be working, but no wifi connect, no wifi scan.
Anyone had any luck ?

I'm so sad to see my $8.88 fly away in a gust of your negativity :-)

I have every confidence it will be picked up by a third party at some stage.. Just putting it out there for the driver fix guys, or if anyone has heard any words towards the RDA chipset in github etc, just asking :-)
