Well, I just got my Win Plus board, and I'm really interested in adding eMMC storage to it.
I have all the tools and a 32GB NAND flash, ready to be soldered-in.

The only few questions I have are the following:
- Is it going to work with default kernel?
- Can it be partitioned with sunxi's nand-part?
- What's the best way to proceed with OS installation?

Any help is appreciated. Thx!

HI,

I had purchased a 16GB EMMC from ebay for OPI  Win plus. then i visited a mobile repair shop and  got the IC soldered on the board. This is EMMC 4.0 chip and i am still checking how to  get it working.
The device tree file stuff is new to me, so i will have to learn that first..

I will post again if  i see any success..

My project is currently on halt, because I have no working Android distro for my specific application. I was really excited about this, but right now I'm not fully committed to it and looking for alternative platforms...

@shashankparab, good luck with your project. I believe that in order to get it fully working you'll need a distro with mmc block device modules installed (which, I believe it is), and you might need to pre-partition eMMC in order to copy the OS.
I believe sunxi's nand-part should work for OrangePi.
