Hi, some days ago I got a OPI Zero and it works really great, anyway I have some questions and I hope you can give me some help.

The board has 13 pins for the expansion board and (watching the map of those pins) I took a phone charger with the end of the cable broken, after a little fixing... Can I power my OPI Zero directly to the pins (5V and ground) without any resistence or fuse? I dont want burn the circuit but I guess I can. Somebody knows if really can I do it without any risk?

Another question is... Those pins has support for 2 USB ports (or this is what I understood). Same as before, can I connect directly any USB connector to the respective pins without any risk? I mean 5V, GND, DM and DP for data transfer and connect i.e. more than one USB flash to the OPI.

My last question is about the OTG. Can i enable it for an adapter and get one more USB interface?

My idea is not use all that USB at same time but i wanna know what USB ports can be useful for devices.

If you want to know, Iv'e been working with armbian for OPI Zero.

Thanks.

Well, i've got no answer about my question then i did it directly. Based on the graphic I plugged an USB female port each wire in the respective place (5V, GND, D- and D+) and it worked .

It has been working flawless without resistors or any other thing else. About the USB-OTG is still without work for plug whatever I want. I hope solve this topic or if someone has the answer it would  be usefull

You can look at the schematics of the expansion board. There is really not much in there, other than the connectors so soldering a USB connector there is totally fine. If you want protection you can add a TVS.
