Hello, and sorry for my English!
I buy an Orange Pi PC, this model - http://www.orangepi.org/orangepipc/. And I buy touchscreen with goodix gt811 chip. It works well, but just like only screen. Touch doesn't work, and I use Armbian with stable core (3.4). I found, that kernel 3.4 doesn't have drivers for this touch, but it works well with 3.5 kernel or newer. So, I install testing (4.13) kernel for armbian. Touch works well, but I have some another problems. This kernel not works stable, and I often get panic error. Sometimes, randomly, alsa say that I don't have any sound card.

Maybe there was another stable OS for my Pi device? With kernel 3.5 or newer? I check list of OS on this site, but don't get info about kernel inside each image. Can you say me, what OS I should use?

Thanks!

We have kernel 4.14.y now, but it is still considered as development/testing. We barely manage to put together basic functions: network, hdmi, audio which means advanced are even further.

We know that there are some stability problems, but it is currently the only alternative that exists. Other systems around are only in (much) worse state since nobody has its own kernel development - they took armbian dev kernel at best - and you will only waste time.
Developing and bug hunting is happening on a daily basis.
Make sure you are using good power supply: https://forum.armbian.com/forum/31-sd-card-and-power-supply/
