The moderator should consider a discussion on  Orangepi for ham (amateur radio)
The PI has many application , especially in software defined radio

Well, it was not my choice to be moderator here. Someone has put me in this role without asking me before.
But be free to open any thread about Ham radio you want. There will be surely someone else who would be interest in this.
Applications should work without problems, maybe for some external Hardware that require specific firmware or newer kernel than 3.4 maybe be problematic.
But it's not said

The FM radio is a good start...but being into amateur radio, I thing using SDR in such a limited fashion should be expounded upon.  How bout a all band radio.  Using SDR it should be relatively simple to do.

I am working on a Packet radio server.
The problem is.... there is no Ax.25 support compiled into any of the OPI + images.
