Hello
So last week I got my package of Orange pi one delivered.
I hooked it up to a 5v 2a adapter that I had bought new beforhand, after I specifically checked the voltage with a multimeter, which showed 5.06 volts.
At first, nothing happened except the rj45 port leds' lighting up. So I took the power out and then checked the sd card to see what I did wrong and wrote a new image on it using dd.
However, from then on, when I connect the adapter, nothing happens. Not even the rj45 leds light up. The adapter is still working and multimeter reads ~5.0 volts
I tried probing the board with multi meter and am getting possitive voltage readings on different locations, so I know power is being applied to it.
furthermore, connecting a usb device like a mouse to the usb port, turns the device on.
I tried connecting the adapter to the GPIO pins but still nothing happens
I changed the adapter and Used a samsung phone charger adapter, 5v 2a but the result is still the same. The board shows no signs of life.
Serial pins don't show any output either.

Did I fry my board? Is there anyway to check where the problem is and see if it's possible to attempt a repair?

Same issue here with OPI PC.
I follow the instructions installing with SDFormatter and Win32Diskmanager, installing Lubutu and Ubuntu. I'm connected over hdmi to a TV, red led on and ethernet leds on too. TV gets signal, but it stays black.

I'm using a 2.1 A Apple power supply.

I scan network and don't find the OPI.

I bought the board from official store.

With Android I get H3 logo. I will let it loading all night.

SD formatter is useless and you should try out another PSU since most likely voltage drops lead to ...

SD is perfectly fine, i checked it with the program you recommend.

It was problem of voltage drop. Now it works with the same PSU as before but connected directly to GPIOS 5V and ground.

I don't have any 3A PSU but i think that I will need it, but i know of people who can boot perfectly fine with 2A PSU. Maybe my 1.7 cable is bad or I have some issue on the voltage regulator.

Confirmed it was the cable. I cut the connector and soldered it to another usb cable i got around here and it worked just fine.

Now it's time to hit the distros
