Hi folks,

almost a week ago I received my OPi One. I spend last 4 days trieng to get it fully working but it seems there is major problem with HW support in released OS's.

Since Armbian and Raspbian couldn't make Ethernet on my board to work, I am seeking help to choose OS that will work. I realize that support fot USB WiFi is little bit too much to ask, but Ethernet would be nice. And changing screen resolution, too.

Also, what is with that buttun on the board-is there any OS that will support that?

Armbian is working on OPi one - with kernel 3.4.110 we got Ethernet, on kernel 4.4 ... no Ethernet yet.

I confirm working Armbian_5.05 (download from armbian.com) on OrangePiOne. Monitor resolutions FullHD
work. System idles at <1W, normal operation uses 2-3W, no heatsink. Server and Desktop versions trimmed for low memory usage.
Ethernet works at top speeds of 95 Mbit/s. Realtek wifi is not yet solved, some old zd1211rw-dongle works. Fast speeds
on both USB ports (normal and OTG).

Stick with Armbian and enjoy.

Zero success with this one. I did tried Armbian 5.05 with 3.4.110 first time, and after your recommendations, I tried it second time.

Using documentation that GungSukma linked, I menaged to change resolution, but that messed up everything-black turned dark green. Still no Ethernet.

I am formatting SD card (I even used brand new card) to give it third try, but I don't belive it will work.
