With raspberry pi 2 and OpenELEC, I can have the HDMI audio output and alsa same time.

Is it possible to do the same with Orange Pi Pc?

Thanks

ALSA is sound subsystem in Linux, you probably mean analog codec (3.5 mm phone jack) and HDMI audio?

Currently, it is not easily done. You would need to set up some ALSA scripts or maybe recompile whole image with some changed kernel settings. If someone figures this out, I will include it, but otherwise I will not work on this.

What is your use case for this? You can easily switch between both outputs in Kodi's settings.

In the next version, you will be able to use both outputs at the same time. At least that is theory, because I can't test it currently. I could upload test image if you like.

By the way - could you please fix noisy audio clicks when you start or stop playing the video. I use mainly analog audio output and it is very noisy in OpenELEC.

Do know how to do that? Currently, I don't know much about audio drivers.

@cbm80,

now that I started reading code, it seems doable. I will also fix some other issues.

Could you compile latest sources and test if clicks are still present? Please check new build instructions in FAQ thread.

BTW, for anyone who wants audio output trough 3.5 jack and HDMI at the same time, select audiohub output device in audio settings.
