Could you (or anyone else) point me to some documentation about fex files? Or describe with a litt ...
Install Ubuntu on VM for example.
After thath git clone sunxi-tools from GITHUB and compile it.
You'll get here 2 files (fex2bin and bin2fex) for converting fex files to bin
fex files edit only in linux or notepad++ on windows
After edition conver file to bin for example [root]: fex2bin script.fex script.bin and copy it to fat directory of SD card.
Thnx for the replies and (sorry am a newbie) umm Think suddenly the electricity dropped, and as soon as it drop, I want the pi to power up using the battery connected to the battery interface.(it should power up the pi as soon as the electricity drops and shouldn't interrupt the on going processes.) idk if my idea might work, but i need your ideas coz am a newbie ._.
That is possible. But it would be easier to just buy a UPS. Just go to a website that would sell them IE. Staples.com, walmart whatever.
Pick out one thats 30-50 bucks, when you get it. Pllug your usb adapter into it. Bam, power goes out, and your device will stay on.
It is easy. Get a 5v battery, a charger that suits its type (liion etc),solder it to the Vcc and gnd gpio pins, then connect it to the charger, it should be powered on if the lights are out. Check this - http://www.digikey.com/en/articl ... um-battery-charging
