Hi naranjito,

I saw your post some time ago when i was planning my system. I got the OPI5plus with 32G of RAM because i want to use ZFS on my sata storage.
I'm trying the build in a different way but the basic software setup should be quite simular.
I run of the emmc which was easy to setup and works fine and want to add my storage of 5hdd + 1ssd cache to my server. I also have the rtl8852be WiFi/BT module installed. My main problem is that i cannot get the nvme to 6x sata adapter (ASM1166 chipset) detected by the board. It is not even seen as unidentified device in lshw and no disk is ever listed in /dev/. I tried different OS's (OPI-debian, OPI-ubuntu, Armbian, plain Ubuntu, etc). I tried different overlays to activate sata on nvme etc. but i can't figure out the problem. I'm also new to the Rockchip platform but i have worked with Raspi's.

Could you elaborate on your setup (OS and version, method and order of installing, chipset of the nvme to sata adapter, parameters you set...) to get your build working.

There is not much information online to get the OPI5plus working as a NAS with SATA as storage and your post is the only one saying "Yes, i got it working". Bravo btw!! I think it would help the people like me who are trying this setup.

Thanx for your advice!
