Anyone know if there might be a away to build an Android Auto head unit using one of these boards?

Here's a project with a tablet, you could do the same with an OrangePi:

What I was hoping for was to setup the OrangePi as the head unit. I can connect my phone when I enter, and it can access my phone for content and internet like Android Auto. I know someone out there made something for Nexus tablets. Just wondering if anyone had ported it over to work for OP boards. Thought it might be a good project.
