I have standard 2A power supply and absolutely no problems. About temperature, it never exceedes 70 °C, with that heat sinks (for raspberry pi):

Device is closed in a box (transparent case). I'm going to also try copper heatsinks to see if they are better (they should be)

Even though I'm not experiencing any issues or performance loss, 70 °C is still a bit to hot for me. I want to decrease temp to max 50-60 °C (without any ubnderlock of course). I think better heatsink will do the job.
But, I would not recommend to use hardware without any coolers.

I have same cheap heatsink as giaur500 and my OPi2 rarely exceeds 55°C. However, I have top side of housing open, for better ability to cool. If you have closed housing, I suggest heatsink with a fan and a proper positioned and sized holes for airflow.

I can co confirm. With top cover removed, temperature is max 55-58 °C. I suspect copper heatsink for raspberry pi will be even better. But 55 °C looks safe

Ok now bad part. With closed case box temp is even 90 °C. Interesting, it overheats much more when listening music. While watching movies, temp is approx 75-80 °C. Now I'm going to test with case box opened..
