I suppose you know how do it, but... You can burn the image with win32 in windows. When you choose the type of image, select all archives: *.* . Then you can choose your image.

today i've written the 2.5.2 image to my sdcard and i really like what i saw! but than, i've started openelec from the menu and now i'm stuck on openelec (which plays 4k!!! love it!!!) and can't find a way back to retrorangepi :-(
EDIT: after rewriting the hole image, i didn't enter openelec for now. now i can't setup wifi...my mt7601 isn't working (firmware/drivers not loaded and/or loadable) AND my EDIMAX isn't connecting while using wpa_supplicant.

Install RetrOrange addon from zip located in scripts folder, then you can easily return
To make mt7601 work, sudo nano /etc/modules , add mt7601Usta at the end, Ctrl X to save , reboot
About EDIMAX, run sudo lsusb and post vendor id xxxx:xxxx so we can see what is the module to be loaded

Just a quick note....

I had a lot of trouble with the OPI-One image not booting.

I'm assuming since your reply is before september, that you were using 2.0. I was able to boot for a minute the opi one image for 2.5.2---however, it shutoff to black and stopped installing or maybe finished installing but installed wrong? Happened on two different burns. So I try the PC version for 2.5.2 and it's just a black screen. Can you tell me what exact version you're using? It could very well be that my sd is bad but it seems to work for everything else just fine.

we noticed quite a few boot failures in 2.5.2. Most of the times it's related to bad power supplies, so you should try a more reliable one. Anyway, we also saw Armbian team, in their changelog for 5.22 (RetrOrange has 5.20), stated that "booting problems fixed on more boards". It's very unusual as we have owners of all boards succeeding in booting up their boards too.
