1. 5V/2A Power adapter is OK?
2. Before trying Android , make sure its working on  Armbian or Lubuntu.
3. Display is HDMI or Video out ? , what is the Screen Resolution ?
4. Use ethernet(Wireshark) or USB to UART (0.5$) to make sure OPI boots ..

For removing OS from SD card use SD Card Formatter     https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/

hi varghese thanks for replyn, power supply is a psp 5v/2a, um the problem is android is already in emmc as far as i can work out because it boots it with no sd card inserted, display is hdmi, i have reformatted sd with the formatter and used win32diskimager to burn different os's but i cant get them to boot from sd because of the android os already installed.

If am correct , removable devices like SD card gets the first boot priority .. emmc is given last priority .. So boot loader checks the SD card first , If no card, then it moves to Emmc. I don't have OPI plus Board so others can guide on that .. .. Even with android, you could check the kernel messages through USB to UART  convertor .. (if you have one) .. Any idea ,what is the screen resolution 1024x768 ? 1024x600? , I heard some odd screen resolution are not supported straight away .. So you can connect to your HDMI TV & check..

ok i did not know that so chances are that its the sd card? i assumed the card was ok because it worked with the android image but from what ive read alot of sd's have issues. the screen res is 1280x720@50hz. i will try a few different sd's this time.
once i get this sorted and a bit of knowledge my next mission is to build a SkyJack rig to annoy my younger brother with
thank you very much for your help

Skyjack is nice project ..  I am more interested in hacking Neighbors wifi routers and reroute the traffic via sslstrip :..)  wifi range is the big problem , these drones could solve that ..

Hi,
just check with a multimeter if your power supply does drop below 5.0V when connected.
I did come across several posts that there are problems with Orange, Banana and Raspberry Pi's if your power supply drops below 5.0 volts while it may supply even over 2 amps.

Hi. Is there a way to make this resolution 1366x768 work with android on pi pc plus ?
I saw in display settings there's only 1080p and 720p options .

then it may requires kernel change ... follow this.. But before trying Android make it work on LInux ..

Problem is people who can make these changes on kernel , do not have the particular display for experimenting ..
