Not sure about this image, but the u-boot I got from Fedora for orange pi (not plus!) required that the device was connected (and probably powered on) when the opi boots.
Might be the same here.

(I use a multi input IIyama monitor but learned the hard way that I have to switch inputs before booting)
You can also reach me on freenode irc, channel #orangepi username eFfeM

I played a bit with Lubuntu on the Orange PI 2 with a TV set on HDMI and:
- Wifi works (thanks!)
- I was not able to get any sound thru HDMI. Is there some configuration to do for the browsers or for Mplayer?
- console switching (Ctl-Alt-F1) does not work: the screen is not updated and stays freezed until back to X11 (Alt-F7).
- from the X11 log, it seems that there is no EDID exchange and the video mode is only 1280x720. How to get 1920x1080?

Lubunto and Rhaspian:

How is it possible to enlarge the space for the operating system from 4 GB to 8 GB on a SD Card.

I use a 8 GB Card but Lubuntu says no more place available.

thx

I wanted to move the system to a USB hard disk, but I could not find how.The first partition of the Lubuntu SD card contains 'uImage' only.
Where are the boot.scr/uEnv.txt files? Or, how can the command line arguments of the kernel be changed?
BTW, there is no script.bin either and no DTB at the end of the uImage. Where are the board parameters?

Easiest way is to put the SD card into another Linux PC and expand the partition using Gparted. As far as I know, this does not work when the partition is in use, therefore the workaround via another machine.
