Hi,

Please can anyone who has the RetrOrangePi 2.5 image upload it to mega or google drive?
If you do, please state also for what OPI the image is ;)

Found an orange pi lite image here:

It seems to work on my OPI PC ;)

Edit:
had to find my old PS2 clone controler USB for testing:
- this OPI Lite image works fine the OPI PC
- controler recognized and works fine after assigning the funktions during 1. boot
- Kodi works fine
- Rii R8 (wireless keyboard/touchpad) works out of the box too.
- flashing took awfull long with etcher (+2h), I used a Hama USB3 to sdcard adapter in a USB2 port and got 0.67MB for writing and 0.78MB for verrifing the image. But it works, just be patient. Pheonix does not work with this image.

Hello. I try to run 3.0 version on OrangePi Plus 2E, but it seems to not work correctly. After i skip joystick configuration no menu is shown, only Armbian terminal screen. I can go to Armbian desktop with strartx, but there is no way to run OpenElec, or go to any of emulations. Wicd is not working also in Armbian. I can configure wifi from interfaces, but why don't you use some newer version of Armbian with network manager, which work with no problems? Kodi in Armbian start only once, then brakes with some error (forgot to note). This is what i found so far. I use rufus and win32diskimager to write image to sd card. My hardware is ok, i guess.
Is there any other RetrOrangePi image i can download for Opi2E? Any mirror for 2.5 version or some newer bugfixed? I would be very appresiate.

I think the makers of RetrOrangePI did make this kinda mandatory. You have to have a gamepad inorder to configure it at the 1. start. There might be a way to bypass this, but you have to ask that in the RetrOrangePI pages: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1131759626884432/ or have a look in their wiki: http://orange314.com/RetrOrangePi


If you want to run Kodi or openELEC and do not need the game emulators you better look here for the images for your OPI:
