I'm new here and a few days ago I get my OPI Zero
My Question is whitch Power-Sypply is recommended - with how many amp's ?

I get one with 5V/1,5A  - can i use that for my OPI-Z ?

Sorry for my bad english I'm from Germany but I hope you can understand me.

Thanks a lot

You can use any power supply which give a stable 5V output.
If a power drops to far below 5V the Orange PI's get stuck in the boot process.
You can check if you power supply is holding the 5V by measuring the 5V rail at the GPIO:
connect pin 2 or 4 (5V) and pin 6 (ground) to a voltmeter.
If the voltage is below 5V -> try an other power supply.
Most 5V2A phone power supplies are not holding a stable 5V output hence they are not usable.
I use a 5V8A 6USB power supply and that works for me. Others report that a PSP power supply works.

Hello Tina,

thanks a lot for your answer
I checked my Power-Supply with my Voltmeter and it shows me exactly 5,01V.
So now its time to start

Thank You again and have a nice day.
