Main issue here is Kodi version. OpenELEC 8.0 has Kodi 17.1 and nobody yet ported all necessary patches for HW video acceleration. You can get OpenELEC 8.0 with Kodi 16.1, but I'm not sure why would anyone want that...

I cloned the libreelec 8 github and added the h3 stuff. I have to write the article with all the steps. I'll publishu
