Linux Distributions for Orange PI H3 boards

I tried to install gutenprint-driver using synaptic package manager but got broken package errors. Have you tried? Need these packages to make my printers working.

I know, that's why it is test kernel...

I tried the test kernel, and it is not stable, it automatically logout and freeze dead sometimes.
I also have some overscan issues with my TV. The area around the screen does not fit, some pixels streched out of the screen. Any fix? We also need a 1024*768 resolution script.bin.

On my OPI+ the new experimental kernel is now running for almost 24 hours, and it runs flawless. I even have the idea that everything runs more smoothly, but this is subjective off course.

I've installed the new experimental kernel over Lubuntu with the mate desktop (all from Loboris' Mega cloud).

Gutenprint driver installs without problem (see the screenshot).
I haven't had any instability or freezes with the new kernel. Do you have heatsink/fan?
1024x768 is not supported, I'll try to make it work, but it requires seting many timing values, so ....
You should be able to set overscan on your monitor/tv.
I can connect to OPI-Lubuntu via x2go without problem with custom session:

Hi Guys,

Just want to let you know that most of the *.img files have script.bin* and uImage* files that don't work properly with Orange Pi PC (either don't boot, or you only got 1 USB port working, no ethernet and so on). Only ones I figured out that work are from scriptbin_kernel.tar.gz

I hope this will save people a lot of time figuring out why they can't boot their Orange Pi PC. Would be good to update the images or mention that in the first post.

I installed 2 heatsinks and a fan above. The temps won`t go higher than 56 degrees.  I don`t think this caused the issue. And the Mate is fine with the x2go.
I failed to install below packages of gutenprint.  I see you can using x2go service with Lubuntu but I cannot. Strange. Is mali driver working now?

You only have to install cups-driver-gutenprint (and gimp-gutenprint if you are using gimp), the dependencies will be installed automaticaly.
Mali drivers can be loaded, but no use of them for now.
