Loboris kernel has such drivers.. But simply they aren't loaded by the system.. This is the issue  ...

The kernel has some dvb-t drivers, that's right. But the rtl2832U is still missing.

Ok... so we can wait if loboris can enable them in the kernel configuration...
Isn't the rtl2832xxu  the one we need? That one is there.

Hi all!
I want use hardware acelerated video rendering on my Orange-Plus, but ..
  1. > es2_info

  2. EGL_VERSION: 1.4 (DRI2)
  3. EGL_VENDOR: Mesa Project
  4. EGL_EXTENSIONS:
  5.     EGL_MESA_configless_context, EGL_KHR_surfaceless_context
  6. EGL_CLIENT_APIS: OpenGL OpenGL_ES OpenGL_ES2 OpenGL_ES3
  7. GL_VERSION: OpenGL ES 2.0 Mesa 10.3.2
  8. GL_RENDERER: Software Rasterizer
  9. GL_EXTENSIONS: ...
I think, row "GL_RENDERER: Software Rasterizer" - it's not so good.
Kernel modules with Mali drivers enabled:
  1. > cat /etc/modules

  2. ump
  3. mali
  4. mali_drm
  5. 8189es
Copy code
I'll try compile User Spase Blob from here. But .. I recive:
  1. > make config

  2. rm -f config.mk
  3. make config.mk
  4. make[1]: Entering directory '/tmp/sunxi-mali'
  5. make -f Makefile.config
  6. make[2]: Entering directory '/tmp/sunxi-mali'
  7. ABI="armhf" (Detected)
  8. VERSION="UNKNOWN" (Detected)
  9. Makefile.config:57: Unknown/unhandled Mali Version "UNKNOWN"
  10. Makefile.config:58: Use VERSION=(r2p4,r3p0,r3p1,r3p2-01rel1) instead
  11. Makefile.config:59: *** Unknown/unhandled Mali Version "UNKNOWN".  Stop.
  12. make[2]: Leaving directory '/tmp/sunxi-mali'
  13. Makefile:12: recipe for target 'config.mk' failed
  14. make[1]: *** [config.mk] Error 2
  15. make[1]: Leaving directory '/tmp/sunxi-mali'
  16. Makefile:8: recipe for target 'config' failed
  17. make: *** [config] Error 2
Copy code
Becouse in file .. function MALI_GET_API_VERSION return api_version.version eq 401 .. but expected value from 8 to 23 accotiated with .. driver api versions .. from r2p2 to r3p2-01rel3.

So, how I can get hardware acelerated video ?
Where I can get User Spase Blob (for Mali driver) for api version 401 ?
I don\t want to compile kernel (with mali driver with api version less than r3p2-01rel3) .. I'am newbe in that.

Sory for my english.

That's not our purpose. Our purpose is to get the already decoded DVB-T stream as this usb keys are meant for SDR use is another story.

I think we need these two files:
Missing file is: .../drivers/media/dvb/frontends/rtl2832u.ko

These file exist, but did not support rtl2832: ../drivers/media/dvb/dvb-usb/dvbt-usb-rtl28xxu.ko

Some one must take the source file from the newer experimental kernel 3.10 or 3.14 and compile it into our
3.4.9 Kernel.

I think it's best to forget any RTL2832U RTL_SDR/DVB stick will ever work with this (old) kernel.
Apart from the 2832 driver you will also need the correct driver for the tuner (eg. E4000 or R820T) , otherwise it still won't work.

Do these distributions support the on board Wifi on the OPi plus? If so how does one enable it?
