Ethernet works in every distro without problem. Check if you have copied the right uImage and script.bin.

Hi Loboris, thank you (and all others off course) for making all possible. I have installed one of your images, enabled the Mal400. Now I would like to make an image. There are several ways to do this, but I only now how to do it with dd. This clones the entire drive. Is there a way to only include the partitions that are present, including their sizes? I have resized the partition that actually holds linux, but it takes ages to clone a 32gb sd card...

Do I have to change / fake the disk size to make linux think the drive is smaller?

Can you please share how you create your images?

You can use image_from_dir script from my GitHub.

Mount your SD Card and copy your linux partition with rsync to some empty directory:
  1. sudo rsync -r -t -p -o -g -x --delete -l -H -D --numeric-ids -s --stats  <sdcard_linux_mountpoint>/  <opi_directory>/
Copy code
Then go to script directory and use the script to create the image:
  1. sudo ./image_from_dir <opi_directory> image_name
Copy code
The script will create image file, xz archive and md5sum

I am trying to make the TV out work on OPI PC with Ubuntu Vivid image from Loboris. So I've been through all 98 pages of this thread, I saw there were 2 requests for tv out but no answer. In the other thread Tv out on Orange Pi 2 magicse gives the solution for OPI 2 and lubuntu 0.9 image that i can't download from Baidu(very slow and brakes before download finish) but even if I could Im not sure that image would work with OPI PC and then I guess its not as good as Loboris image. But I used magicse settings for fex file to make the bin and put the tv in /etc/modules. There is a signal on tv out but the picture is tilted, moving like out of sync, no color, basically it is not usable. I have tried different settings for script.bin without luck. Cable is ok, tv is ok.
Any ideas? Anybody made OPI PC tv out work on some Loboris image?

Of course thanks to Loboris for his work, it convinced me to buy the board.
