Hi, everyone! Help me, please, with my new WIFI dongle on Orange Pi PC!
On OPI_slackware_14.1 it runs fine (at speed 1M, but works)

On Ubuntu_wily_mini dmesg says: rtlwifi: Firmware rtlwifi/rtl8192cufw.bin not available

Running into an issue with DNScrypt-proxy and it seems to be pointing towards kernel related. see here: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... &fromuid=151571

I've used the firmware update function in DietPi and the problem still persists.

I have an orange pi-2 revision 1530. But no one of script.bin.opi-2_xxxxxxxx (by Loboris) with corresponded uimages couldnt up my board it seems just keeps rebooting with no image on the monitor (red led on board is on for some time, then blinks then on again). Also i haven't found any of working android images, (on 800x480 and 720p tv) some of them just stays on logo for a long time. Instead I tried script.bin.opi-pc_xxxxxxxx (by Loboris) and suddenly it succeeded with ubuntu-mate. Ethernet present, but there is no working onboard wi-fi and maybe some other devices (this is because of the wrong script.bin i suppose). What have i to do to make a right script? is it possible i have a broken board? sorry for the dumb questions, i am totally newby with linux :-/.

Hello loboris:

I use Lubuntu 15,
apt-get install gnome-schedule
install is success,
but terminal type crontab command,
output "no crontab command",
Do you have the same problem?

Randomly OPI PC boots with USB ports in v1.1 mode. I'm using last loboris kernel in debian jessie. It is there any way to solve it?

I would recommend trying Armbian instead, grab the non-desktop version if you want Jessie or the desktop-version if Ubuntu 14.04 is fine, or compile Armbian yourself.

Does it run better than debian with loboris kernel?
I'll try it.

But, any solution for the usb speed on debian jessie with loboris kernel?
