The 10th page of "OrangePi RK3399_RK3399_User Manual_v1.2.pdf" has the following description.
"We can make use of the RKTool / make.sh script in the SDK root directory for automatic compilation"

However, I could not find "RKTool / make.sh" from OrangePi_RK 3399_ Android 6.0_V 1.0.tar.gz.
Where is it?

OrangePi_RK 3399 _ Android 6.0_V 1.0.tar.gz is a file created by combining files downloaded from mega.nz.

who is in your company Steven Zhao? Maybe he is only responsible for selling goods? Maybe i speak with wrong person?
He is not understand what he is doing and have no idea about flashing linux firmware..... Can someone help him...
Iam very tired to speak with him - no progress to resolve problem.  Linux images are rootfs images and cant be flashed via linux upgrade_tool program.
program not recognize them. And they doent work when with build separately kernel and u-boot images.
Can someone resolve linux problem on RK3399? Everyone busy???? None responsible for that???
I said to Steven i want my money back from you. On your download www page you promised linux support. Iam not interesting with only one working Android SDK images.
You are not serious people. This is the last thing I purchased from you. My opinion on internet is bad about you.

I have bought Orangepi RK3399 via aliexpress. On orangepi www site are img's files of linux dabian 9 and ubuntu 16.04. But this file not full system img that can be flash via RK_Android_Toll. They are precompiled rootfs files. According to the manual i have downloaded Linux4.4_SDK and build kernel ./build/mk-kernel.sh rk3399-orangepi. I also build uboot ./build/mk-uboot.sh rk3399-orangepi. i used existed roofs file debian9 and compile img system file ./build/mk-image.sh -c rk3399 -t system -s 4000 -r out/debian9.img. Then i entered hardware to the maskroom mode and ./build/flash_tool.sh-c rk3399 -p system -i out/system.img. Finally i flashed system.img to the emmc memory. But when i plug in device i have black screen. Nothing is booting. Others people have the same problem. Something must be wrong with the precompiled roofts files or Linux4.4 SDK. People ask on orangepi forum about this problem but forum's admin say only "do things according to the manual". I must say manual is not clear, full of mistakes. No other support from orangepi. No other img files of software. Hardware without software is a rubbish. I want my money back bacause there isnot working software for this hardware !!!!!!!

Hi admin
I am talking about the method written in the manual.

The OrangePi-RK3399_Android 6.0_V1.0_2017_0720.tgz is a file written in the manual page 9 (image below).

I downloaded the file from the location of the image below.

"./RKTools/make.sh -u -j4" is written in the manual page 10(image below).

"./RKTools/make.sh - u - j 4" is not included in OrangePi-RK3399_Android 6.0_V1.0_2017_0720.tgz
where is it?

So sorry for that happen. I will try my best to ask our engineer to take a short video about how to make it boot.
In the meantime, maybe you need to take some more time to try.
Btw, the tool you use is for Android, and the image you use is Linux, so maybe  you could change one of that.

"I will try my best to ask our engineer to take a short video about how to make it boot."
Yes please.
Some people intrested in android and some people intrested only in linux. something wrong must be in rootfs.img files.
Why dont  engineers prepare img system file for flash via RK_Android_tool. it will be the easiest thing
Best regards
