Hey there,

I just want to share some experience about the current drain of the One Plus. I may update this from time to time.

At a voltage of 4.95 to 5 volts the "idle" system draining about 0.45 amps (not really idle, check http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... &extra=page%3D1).
At full load compiling a kernel image within the PI I measured currents up to 0.98 amps.

Using Ubuntu server image once with 3.10.65+ kernel image.

No measurements using GUI yet.

Just did the same tests with the latest dev build Armbian shipping linux 4.17

In idle mode the voltage drops to around 4.97 volts while drawing a current of 0.07A (in words point o seven!). Hugh difference.
For a full load test I used cryptsetup benchmark and the current were rising to 0.16 amps at max with a voltage drop to min 4.92V

I know the voltage drop is not important and does not tell anything about the PI but for the used voltage source. I don't care
