Hello there,

A friend of a friend had got a virus on their computer and got the keyboard error. I have seen multiple threads with the issue saying Keyboard Failure Press f1 to continue press f2 to enter setup. Nothing really seemed to give a definite answer. They just want to get some important things off of it like photos etc. Can I just hook it up to my computer and take what they want off of it? Can I block the hard drive from updating any thing and moving the virus to moving to my computer?

Please help.

I did not find the right solution from the internet.

As far I know it can be stop updating any specific software you want. But I have no idea about the hard drive blocking from updating issue. I think the best solution is to keep antivirous program in the computer. It's also ture while browsing internet, there sometimes appears unusual or unknown pop up message that may contains virus. In that case we should cross the window or stop taking any action simply.
