I'm going to use the car battery with a DC to DC converter to power the OrangePI at all time, the lcd screen will be powered when the ignition turns on.
Maybe, if possible, when the OPI receive a "ignition on" signal it will show a welcome screen for a few seconds before going to the main 7 gauge cluster?

For powering the screen, all I have to do is using a 5,5 mm jack plug on 12V.
The OPI needs a 4,5 mm jack plug on 5V 2A
