What to use to power efficiently a Zero (v1.5) and cables/GPIO questions.

Hi,

I just received my first two Zero v1.5. There was no power adapter sold with it, so I went the USB OTG route with my laptop powering it.
The problem is I want the Zero to be independent from my laptop, so... What type of power adapter could I buy, and what kind of cables too? I think one can power it up through GPIO, but where could I find the cables (not in the OrangePi store for sure)? What about the serial port to USB? The video output (I bought the extension card, but would like to go without)?

For power supply or power cable, you could find it on your local market if do not want to order from Orange Pi Store. Pls make sure the power voltage of power supply is 5A or at least 2A. If you want to power via GPIO, you need to refer to the schematic to check which pi n should be connected.

I'd like to buy from OrangePi Store, but was not able to find a correct power supply to feed the board through GPIO.

You can use a Ipad USB power supply and a standard USB-microUSB cable . Any adapter with 2Amps output will work .
My Zero has only 2 connections : microUSB for power and RJ45 to the router .
