Will there be firmware updates?
I would like Android 5. In this firmware (except for its squalor) there are drawbacks: the device does not turn on automatically when power is supplied.
And as there is a glitch with GPS: when manually setting some time zone, time from satellites is 1 hour behind UTC. Although it should always go to UTC regardless of the time zone set on the smartphone.

Linux image for MTK products are under developing, i cant sure when will be avaialble now.

works for me <3. It increased by 1GB, but we have 4GB EMMC. So I think Ubuntu ate 3GB EMMC :v
[Update] By using fdisk to expand the unallocated space for the root partition, we now have 3GB of root

I think there is no support ,driver anything for 3G and GPS and BT on linux and i see nothing in /dev/
Linux image is useless without 3G and GPS
