Are there any updates on the Linux release date for the 4G-IOT?  I've just had delivery of two of the boards I purchased and would like to get started with them soon.  Even an alpha or beta release would be sufficient for now.

2 questions:
1 - What kernel does it uses ? mainline ? stable ? patched mainline ? others ?
2 - It uses a module or the SoC integrated modem ?

Update:
Look like it uses the SoC integrated modem! (they better change the product page to clarify that)
The kernel is android at the moment...

Also very interested in this issue. Maybe someone knows why the monitor does not work through the HDMI interface?

I see Linux support has been removed from all marketing materials for the 4G-IOT, and on AliExpress.  Does this mean that Linux will not be supported on the board?

@admin - Can you provide current projected time for Linux port? Last given estimate was for middle of June. Would appreciate new estimate.

It is a massive step in the right direction though, @jackoo.  I'm very happy to see they have followed through with Linux for this lovely board.

I will be keeping tabs on the main thread to see when HDMI support is added.  There seem to be problems with the board, but hopefully we'll see those ironed out soon, or at least the source released.
