I have an orange plus one, I would like to create an access point, the wifi card is "Bus 003 Device 002: ID 148f: 7601 Ralink Technology, Corp. MT7601U Wireless Adapter".
I tried various distributions I followed various guides "armbian, raspbian, openwrt, zeroshell" but I could not make it work as an access point, the usb wifi card does not present problems, with the distribution Armbian_5.59_Orangepione_Ubuntu_bionic_next_4.14.65, it scans the wireless network (sudo iwlist scan) finds all the networks, I think it is not a driver problem otherwise it would not find the wifi networks, only that as access points nothing.
at the bottom some guides that I followed and the model of the usb wifi

I think it is not a driver

Not necessarily. Some driver supports AP some don't. Since this is an extremely cheap device, lower your expectation. We don't support 3rd party hardware. It works or not.

If it works, it should work on our clean image with a modern kernel (4.14.y ->) and via autodetection (armbian-config -> network -> hotspot). Forget other guides.
