I'm looking to build an IoT device and I consider using an OrangePi board as its controller. The almost right solution for my needs is i96, except that its wireless chip is quite old.

Can the i96 run a Bluetooth 4.2 stack? I need its BLE capabilities.

Does the Zero H2+ or Zero Plus2 H3 support BT 4.2?

Thanks, this means that the chipset can support BT 4.2. How can I add this capability to a more generic Linux? If necessary I am willing to pay for such capability.
