Android is also very slow - I didn't even manage to fully install it (first time run took forever)

Please use a 8gb class 10 microsdcard! if possible sanddisk and burn in StartUP mode
Forum is full of people whinning that orangepi not works or is slow!

I tried several cards class 10 (kingston). Same cards with ubuntu worked much faster than android. So it is not the problem in cards...

OK then trash this android image and use linux!
or if you want android convince @steven_zhao it should publish SDK patches and update sources! so that you can build a better and faster community android image!


PS. Kingston is slow and not as good as sanddisk

I used SSD over USB for Lubuntu testing yesterday, got 30 MB/s both sequential and random read/write test, but Lubuntu was still really slow. Class10 cards are (minimum) 10MB/s so mine test storage (SSD) was a much (especially for random write test) faster than Class 10 cards, to be honest UHS-3 cards too. I will try sandisk as soon as possible, but, to be honest, in my opinion the reason is not there.
