Hi

I have tested CEC update with two panasonic's.
CEC seems to work as it should with one of them (CEC plugin connects to "TV").
But the other Panasonic (a brand new 4K version, produced by Vestel), on/off and select correct HDMI works, but no buttons works. Openelec CEC Plugin connect to the  "CEC plugin".

best regards

If I remove the hdmi cable and put it back , CEC stops working and must be restarted .

Awesome that HW CEC is working! Thanks a lot for everyone who put effort to make this happen.
I know development is at very early stage and these are probably already known, but here is couple things I noticed:

- Libcec seams to change the Kodi UI-language to TV-menu language even if the option "use tv menu language" is not set
- "inactive source" is maybe not handled properly, sometimes cec doesn't work after switching sources
- if automatic refresh rate change happens, libcec loses connection to TV. This propably needs to be handled by the cec driver

Thanks everyone for testing. jodamm already works on TV off/on issue. Let's wait till new update and see what is improved and what is to fix.

No. I had a long discussion with mosterta (the one who works on completely open source Kodi for A20). He is more knowledgeable than me about rendering and suggested to move to Kodi Krypton, which is currently in alpha1 state. My approaches would probably work, but A/V synchronization might not be the best. I will first try to implement everything on Armbian, because it is much easier than uploading update file 25x per day. I will also switch to open source Cedrus library, which mean only mpeg1/2/4, h264 and h265 codec, but those are most used anyway. However, this will progress slowly, because I don't have much free time currently to work on that. In the mean time, I will update features as cec, because that is mostly just copying few patches from github.

Ok... bad news then. Need to forget dvb-t on OPI for now.
